Little bit more about me… 

Hello again…so I’m originally from the North West of England, right by the beautiful Lake District in a small town called Barrow-in-Furness. At the moment though, I’m  living in the smallest state in the USA – Rhode Island! I moved here with work in June 2019 on a three year assignment but I’m using my spare time, outside of the daytime job, to travel and make the most of every single opportunity that comes my way!

My weekends are always jam packed with different types of activities and adventures and I wouldn’t have it any different! 

I love cups of tea, I love sweet potatoes, I love sunsets, I love netball, I love sunflowers and I LOVE hummus.

Whilst it can be amazing to ‘tick off’ as many places as possible, I’ve never really fancied the idea of rushing through travelling as if it’s some kind of strict checklist. I have a slight (fairly big) issue with being a perfectionist, it’s something I’m working on, but I can just never stop my brain from diving head first into ‘planning mode’!

I can’t wait for the day I just get up, pack my rucksack and don’t plan a single thing!! I’m hoping the more I travel, meet new, interesting people and embrace a variety of  cultures, I can continue to work on ‘letting go’ more and having my inner spontaneity let loose (I know it’s in there somewhere!).
